New Board and Steering Committee Members

8 October 2020

We are please to announce some changes to the AV User Group Board and local Steering Committees as follows.

Firstly, we are delighted to welcome Sydney, Australia as a new location to the group which formed last year and kicked off in October 2019.

We are pleased to have Pete Swanson (LendLease), Lex Strauss (Ernst & Young) and Bojan Vizintin (independent) as volunteers on the Sydney Steering Committee, with Pete Swanson representing them on the Board.

In Hong Kong we were sad to lose Marc Elliott (JPMC) from the steering committee and Board when he moved to Singapore. However, we are pleased to welcome Zelig Lui (Barclays) and Umar Syed Habib (Bloomberg) to the Steering Committee and that Ben Goldsworthy (Wynn Palace, Macau) has agreed to be the Hong Kong representative on the Board.

In London we were also unfortunate with the departure of Gary Keene (Google) as steering committee and Board representative when he moved into a different role within Google and had to stand down.

We are now pleased to welcome Michael Stanton-Jones (also from Google) as Gary's replacement on the London Steering Committee and Stuart Mitchell (ECFMRWF) who's agreed to represent the London group on the Board.

In New York Mike Janis (MetLife) stood down as Board and steering committee member as he unfortunately couldn't give the time. We have now secured Emil Delgado (St Peters University) as replacement on the New York Steering Committee and John Hoyt (BlackRock) who's agreed to step up into the Board role.

Finally, in San Jose we were very sad to lose Jason Berry (SalesForce) recently through redundancy from the Board and steering committee. We wish Jason all the best at such a difficult time.

We are now pleased to announce that Cindy Todd (Intuit) has stepped into the Board role and to welcome Joshua Willman (Facebook) into the San Jose Steering Committee.

All Board and Steering Committee volunteers details and pictures can be found on the 'Our Team' page of the website www.avusergroup.com/ourteam

We would like to thank all these volunteers, past and present, for their volunteer contribution and support in running the AV User Group globally. We couldn't do it without them.
