What We Do
The group meets up to four times a year in each of it's operating locations for a series of presentations that include formal presentations from manufacturers, case studies, the unveiling of relevant research findings and discussions on topical subjects or challenges that members face.
The manufacturer and supplier sessions are steered towards new technology and many existing sponsors have benefited from bringing products to the group at very early development stages and have used the groups initial feedback to mould their product to better suit the end user markets requirements.
All meeting agendas are planned by the group and the formal meetings may only be attended by user members.
Formal meetings are followed by informal evening networking events during which sponsoring suppliers and members can meet and interact.
The group maintains strong links with manufacturers who see the group as a valuable asset for end user feedback and customer relationships. The relationship provides a way for end users to influence roadmaps so that manufacturers develop products they actually want to buy. When members have issues with a product or changes in commercial terms, the AV user Group has formed an exceptionally strong lobbying body.
The group participates in other industry events in order to promote the work it does and make it more accessible to new end user members.
